Rescue Inc. invites and encourages community members to consider becoming part of the Rescue Inc. team. Perhaps you have always had an interest in acquiring the skills needed to help save a life or help someone who is sick, or maybe your interest is in helping behind the scenes at Rescue. In either case, your skills will be put to great use as a Rescue Inc. member.

Chances are good you know someone who is a volunteer or staff provider at Rescue. We are realtors, builders, teachers, musicians, pastors, ski patrollers, contractors, business owners, and students. No prior experience or credentials are required to become a Rescue EMT other than a commitment to learn and to make a difference. Our Community Training Center in Brattleboro offers numerous classes that will introduce you to EMS through a First Responder course, and you can continue on with us to earn your national certification at the EMT Basic level and beyond.

If your interest in being a part of the Rescue Inc. team lies outside the realm of being an EMT, we invite you to become an Auxiliary Member. Consider taking an EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operations Course) class which offers the certification needed to become a Rescue Inc. ambulance driver.

Whatever your field of expertise or skill set, your time and energy will make a huge impact on the organization. Please contact Linda Goss for more information or stop by Rescue's Division 1 quarters on Canal Street in Brattleboro any time.

We hope to hear from you!
