Rescue Inc. / Windham County Heat Fund Raffle!

Help support the Windham County Heat Fund and Rescue’s Ambulance Fund and you may be one of two lucky recipients of 250 gallons of free #2 heating oil, courtesy of Fleming Oil and Brattleboro Savings and Loan!

Tickets are $10 and a maximum of 1,000 tickets will be sold. In addition, there will be nine additional prizes donated by local merchants who are helping to support this important cause. Your odds of winning are pretty darn good, and you will be supporting two extremely vital non-profits in the community.

Windham County Heat Fund - As the warmth of spring slowly erases the memories of a cold, gray winter, it is easy to put aside concerns about those who are struggling to keep a home warm. With oil prices at best unpredictable, the Windham County Heat Fund is there to try and close the gap for those neighbors whose health is at risk due to lack of access to safe, clean heat. Half of the proceeds from your raffle ticket purchase will benefit this mission critical effort.

Rescue Inc. Ambulance Fund – Rescue Inc. is in the business of providing emergency care to those who are sick or injured in Brattleboro or any of 13 surrounding towns in southern Vermont and New Hampshire. As a non-profit, Rescue works very hard to control costs while maintaining its preparedness to respond 24/7/365. Ambulance wear and tear is a huge expense for an agency that runs thousands of calls a year, and Rescue’s portion of the proceeds from this raffle will be put directly toward the funding of a needed replacement ambulance.
