Financial Assistance

Rescue Inc.'s Financial Assistance/Charitable Care Program is designed to help eligible patients who are experiencing difficulty paying for emergency and medically necessary ambulance services.

• Assistance is available to qualifying uninsured patients and insured patients who have a remaining financial responsibility after available insurance or other third-party coverage has been billed or pursued.

​

• Eligibility is based on household income and family size using a sliding scale based on the current Federal Poverty Guidelines.

​

• Depending on eligibility, financial assistance may reduce some or all of a patient's responsibility for eligible services.

​

• Patients experiencing difficulty paying a Rescue Inc. bill are encouraged to contact our Business Office at 802-257-7679 for information about the program or assistance with an application.
